Steps to Decision

  • Commissioners vote September 16, allowing process to move forward
  • NHRMC & NHC leaders form Partnership Advisory Group
  • Board of Commissioners holds public hearing on priorities
  • Partnership Advisory Group develops Request for Proposals (RFP) based on identified priorities (RFP includes request for information on charges, services, and indigent care at similar facilities owned or operated by the those submitting proposals)
  • Advisory Group briefs NHRMC Board of Trustees and NH County Commissioners on the framework of the RFP
  • RFP is posted to NHRMCFuture.org website and sent to minimum 5 potential partners
  • Potential partners develop and submit proposals
  • Partnership Advisory Group seeks clarifying information on initial proposals as needed
  • Final proposals are shared on NHRMCFuture.org website
  • Partnership Advisory Group evaluates proposals and potential to remain county-owned
  • Board of Commissioners holds public hearing on proposals received
  • Partnership Advisory Group continues to work through due diligence
  • Partnership Advisory Group brings recommendation on whether to pursue one or more proposals and/or pursue other ways to support NHRMC in remaining county-owned to the Board of Commissioners
  • NHRMC Board of Trustees and Board of Commissioners consider whether to move forward with one or more proposal
  • If not moving forward, Partnership Advisory Group advises on best way to support NHRMC as county-owned organization
  • If moving forward with a proposal, Partnership Advisory Group completes due diligence and negotiates agreement with selected partner
  • County makes copies of proposed agreement with a partner available to the public
  • Board of Commissioners holds public hearing on proposed agreement
  • NHRMC Board of Trustees and County Commissioners vote on whether to approve selected partner and proposed agreement
